Services for Pocket Pets

At Hôpital vétérinaire St-Lazare, we welcome all pocket pets, including mice, rats, guinea, gerbils, degus and chinchilla.

Should my pet rodent be vaccinated?

No, pet rodents do not need to be vaccinated.

Can I have my pet rodent spayed or neutered?

Yes, it’s actually recommended. Sterilization prevents reproduction and protects animals from certain diseases of the reproductive system.

What should I feed my pet rodent?

Pet rodents all have different diets. Call us for more information. Our team will be able to advise you.

Always give solid advice to us. Greatly appreciated.
